Brendan Eich, the creator of the JavaScript and Mozilla cofounder, is now working on a new open source browser called Brave.

Brave is not only a faster and safer browser, but it is also trying to reset the ad ecosystem. In Brendan Eich words, “Brave is the only approach to the Web that puts users first in ownership and control of their browsing data by blocking trackers by default, with no exceptions.”

Beta versions of the browser are available for the desktop (OS X / Windows / Linux), iOS and Android.
